About The Authors

John and Myra are descendants of Masonic families. John has three grandfathers who were 3rd degree Masons and Myra’s grandfather and uncle were 3rd degree Masons, her mother was in Eastern Star, and Myra is a Past Honored Queen of Jobs Daughters. Both authors were raised in Masonic families.

The authors have spent years researching their family history, using various sources such as historical records, DNA tests, and online databases. They have discovered that they are related to many royal families and Knights Templar, such as King Robert the Bruce of Scotland, King Edward III of England, King Louis IX of France, and Hugh de Payens, the founder of the Knights Templar. They have also traced their lineage to the ancient Israelites, the Phoenicians, and the Vikings.

The authors have written their book to share their findings and insights with the world, and to show how the Knights Templar have influenced the history and culture of America and other countries. They hope that their book will inspire others to explore their own heritage and to learn more about the history of the Knights Templar.

JOHN A. NICHOLS

John Nichols served in the U.S. Army. He also retired from a stellar career with Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroad. His hobbies included archeology and photography. In 2013, John and Myra began researching ancient artifacts found in the Tucson area, which led to their publication called Calalus Revisited, How Arizona’s Riches Rebuilt the Roman Empire. Their book received an excellent review for writing and a suggestion on organization. This review and the success of their first book inspired their research into their family. The investigation led to their current publication, The Rebirth of the Knights Templar, from Jerusalem to America.

MYRA E. NICHOLS

Myra Nichols began her writing career when employed by the U.S.D.A. Forest Service.
